Aluminum flexible connectors are made by laminating and pressing multiple layers of aluminum foil. Aluminum foil is prone to oxidation and has a low melting point, making tight lamination between layers difficult. Conventional welding processes cannot thoroughly break the surface oxide film, often resulting in interlayer virtual bonding, internal gaps, delamination and unstable resistance. The Haifei fully automatic workstation for aluminum foil diffusion welding is developed targeting the processing challenges of aluminum flexible connectors. It adopts low-temperature molecular hot-press diffusion welding technology to realize molecular bonding of multi-layer aluminum foil, matched with a full-automatic integrated production flow.

Existing Welding Process Pain Points
1.Aluminum foil easily forms an oxide film. Traditional welding fails to remove it completely, leaving oxide interlayers between foils. This reduces effective conductive cross-sections and raises contact resistance, leading to excessive temperature rise during equipment operation.
2.Uneven heat input from conventional thermal welding coarsens aluminum grain structures and embrittle the base material. Products have poor bending and vibration resistance, prone to cracking and strip breakage in service.
3.Manual stacking, positioning and pressing deliver limited precision with inconsistent clamping force. Loading, positioning, hot pressing and cooling all rely on labor, resulting in low production speed and high labor costs.
4.Conventional welding easily causes surface burns, indentations and workpiece deformation.

1.Adopt low-temperature constant-temperature molecular diffusion welding to mitigate aluminum surface oxidation, improve multi-layer fusion, reduce interlayer gaps and virtual joints, stabilize conductivity and control temperature rise.
2.Optimize constant-temperature hot pressing to relieve thermal defects and material embrittlement, retain the ductility of aluminum foil and enhance bending, vibration and fatigue resistance.
3.Build a full automatic production line to realize automatic loading/unloading, precise positioning, constant-temperature hot pressing, pressure holding forming and cooling discharging, cutting manual intervention and human-induced errors.
4.Minimize indentation, burn and deformation; support processing of aluminum connectors with various layers & specifications, as well as storage and traceability of process parameters.
