Such heat pipes contain capillary heatdissipation structures and vacuum inner cavities, realizing uniform heat dissipation by vacuum phasechange. Mediumfrequency spotwelders feature stable heat output, controllable pressure and narrow heataffected zones, and represent mainstream process for heatpipe welding. Nevertheless, heatpipes have thin walls, hollow interiors without support and copper with high thermal conductivity. In production, defects such as nozzle collapse, pipewall bulging, innerwall burningthrough, sealingend leakage and weak welding frequently occur.

1.Thinwalled hollow structure without internal support. The material is relatively soft. Deformation and collapse will happen once softened by heat or subjected to slight pressure, damaging inner heatdissipation structures and impairing heatdissipation performance.

2.Copper has high thermal conductivity and low heatstorage capacity. A small amount of heat can penetrate thin walls, readily causing innerwall burningthrough and invisible microholes which form hidden leakage risks.

3.High vacuumsealing requirements. Tiny pores, gaps or discontinuous fusion on weld spots will allow gradual air ingress, resulting in vacuum degradation and product rejection.

4.Slight overheating or squeeze deformation will cause permanent damage, making rework impossible.
